MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee County is giving away 1,500 free turkeys ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
If interested, pick up your free turkey at the King Community Center, 1531 W. Vliet St., starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24. The event is drive-thru only via Vliet Street. Residents are asked to wear their masks while they pick up their turkeys.
The turkeys will be given away while supplies last.
