Milwaukee bus driver helps homeless man find housing [VIDEO]

Posted

MILWAUKEE -- When a Milwaukee County Bus driver was driving her bus on a cold and blustery Saturday evening, she had no idea that she was about to change someone's life.

Bus driver Natalie Barnes came across a homeless man, Richard, who had been on the streets, in the cold, for a week. Not only did Barnes allow him to stay warm on the bus, but she offered to buy him food.

At first, Richard denied the gesture, but the next night on the bus, he accepted her offer.

Barnes didn't stop there. She then connected the man to a homeless shelter and offered to buy him supplies from the store.

Due to her efforts, Richard is off the streets and working to find permanent housing.
