MILWAUKEE — A GoFundMe that was started after the Molson Coors shooting is close to reaching its $1 million goal.
The Miller Valley Survivors fund is less than $60K away from reaching its goal of $1 million. The fund was started four days ago and already sits at nearly $950K.
The Molson Coors Beverage Company started this fund in honor of Dale Hudson, Gene Levschetz, Jesse Valle, Dana Walk, and Trevor Wetselaar, the victims of the shooting.
According to the GoFundMe page, the fund was established to provide direct financial assistance to the family members of the victims.
Molson Coors organized this fund on behalf of National Compassion Fund, a program of the National Center for Victims of Crime. This program is the one who will be distributing the money to the families.
