MILWAUKEE -- If you are looking for a free ride ahead of St. Patrick's Day, look no further.

Miller Light and MCTS are offering free rides for the holiday.

The two have teamed up to provide safe, alternative transportation for nearly 1 million people over the past 26 years.

The program has gained a lot of support from law enforcement, elected officials and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

“Anyone heading out to celebrate the holiday a little early, on Saturday night, can take advantage of safe, convenient and free transportation,” said Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele. “Folks can choose to leave their keys at home and instead count on MCTS and Miller Lite Free Rides to get around safely."

Miller Lite Free rides will be available on all MCTS bus routes Saturday, March 16, from 6 p.m. until the end of regular service.
