Miller Brewing and The Riverside Theater are teaming up to host a second annual "Cheers to Milwaukee" free surprise concert.
The headliner will remain a mystery until June 8 at 8:30 p.m. when the show starts at The Riverside Theater. Last year the headliner was 'Chevy Metal,' a rock band headlined by Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Guests can expect music, drinks and a complimentary ticket to Summerfest.
“We are thrilled to join Milwaukee's hometown brewer, Miller Brewing to help kick-start the summer festivities for Milwaukee residents with a free concert at The Riverside Theater, that we know everyone will love,” said Gary Witt, CEO of The Pabst Theater Group. “The Riverside Theater has played a role in helping to bring Milwaukee back to life and ‘Cheers to Milwaukee’ will be another great reason to come downtown.”
The concert is free for everyone 21-years and older, but guests who attend must have tickets. Tickets can be picked up at The Girl in the Moon shop at the Miller Brewery, the Pabst Theater Box Office and the Summerfest Box Office. Tickets are first come, first serve.
Also, be on the lookout for Miller Brewing at various drinking spots around the city on the day of the concert. The company will be buying beers across the community leading up to the concert.
