A Korean War Veteran thought his granddaughter was in Afghanistan, so when she walked into the room at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center Friday he was at a loss for words.
"I don't know if my heart can take any more," said Pete after hugging his granddaughter, Erin.
The Medical Center posted a video of the surprise encounter on their Facebook page.
Erin was deployed to Afghanistan to run a combat stress clinic under the 807th Medical Command. She is also a former social worker at the Milwaukee VA.
