MILWAUKEE — It's been nearly 10 years since we've been greeted mid-flight by the sweet aroma of chocolate chip cookies, but we'll get a taste of that Wednesday as the first Midwest Express plane arrives at a gate at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport to announce initial flight destinations for the revived airline.
Midwest Express President Greg Aretakis will announce the initial flight destinations and final steps before flights take off later this year. The news briefing will also include comments from Airport Director Brian Dranzik and Portland, Maine-based Elite Airways President John Pearsall.
The Midwest Express branded aircraft will arrive at Concourse D about 9:45 a.m.
If you find yourself traveling in and out of Concourse D at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, stop by to get into the spirit with some of those iconic chocolate chip cookies.
