MILWAUKEE-- Police say two adults and one child have died after a crash involving one vehicle at 26th & Townsend in the Franklin Heights neighborhood.

Capt. Craig Sarnow with the Milwaukee Police Department says the vehicle was heading eastbound on Townsend at the time.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner has identified the deceased as 29-year-old Larry Williams, 22-year-old Ayana Hill and their 2 year old daughter, Yana Williams.

A girl and boy, ages 1 and 5-months-old, were taken to the hospital to be treated. The 5-month-old is in grave condition while the 1-year-old is stable.

A witness told police the driver was going at "a high rate of speed" when the driver lost control and hit a tree.

Neighbor Akaima Watkins heard the crash happen.

"I just had got home from work and then it was just a 'boom' and then them pulling out them kids it was just... it was just so hurtful just to see that," said Watkins.

Police say this is an active investigation.
