MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Fire Department confirms one person was taken to the hospital after being shot near a McDonald's restaurant Monday night.
Several officers have been outside the McDonald's located near 9th and North shortly after 9:00 p.m. Monday.
This comes as the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is reporting a highway closure on I-43 southbound at Keefe and Locust Streets due to a report of shots fired.
