MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee authorities were called out to the Bay View neighborhood Thursday for a report of a body being discovered.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that deputies were sent to South Shore Park for an unresponsive man found in the park.
The Milwaukee Fire Department arrived on the scene and performed lifesaving efforts. The man was brought to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy is pending, and the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating.
