Close to twenty people were rescued from their balconies during a massive fire that broke out just after midnight at a Bayside apartment complex.

The 62-unit building at North White Oak Lane and Port Washington Road caught fire just after midnight.
Miraculously everyone got out safely.

Three people, including a firefighter, had to go to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are still looking into what caused the fire, but they say it does not appear suspicious.

Both lanes of I-43 northbound were closed at Brown Deer Road because of the fire.

Red Cross is assisting those displaced.
