MAYVILLE, Wis — What is the coolest thing made in Wisconsin? Perhaps it's something cheese related, or maybe beer?
Well, now you can vote on what your favorite thing thing made in the dairy state is with this March Madness style bracket.
Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce is hosting a competition that originally started with hundreds of nominations and is now down to just 16. It's all an effort to promote the state's manufacturing industry.
Companies in the Sweet 16 include MEC Outdoors, Basler Turbo Engines and Tapped Maple Syrup. They each even have their own seeds.
"Its a little bit of pride and kind of what plays into our company of being here in the state and making something from basically a raw material into something- into somebody’s hobby," Shawn Wozniak, a manager at MEC Outdoors said.

They make the 400 Series Defender. It is a clay target machine.
"Its an excellent unit, absolutely," Duwayne Mosley, an employee at MEC Outdoors said.
The Mayville company has tough competition, though. They are a five seed and have no. 1 Henry Repeating Arms to contend with if they make it through the next rounds (assuming the no. 1 seed isn't upset by 16 seed Worzalla).
The companies are voted on by the public. The first round will last until September 22nd. You can vote for your favorite product made in 2019 here.
