Man who pointed compound bow at officer identified

RACINE, Wis — The Racine Police Department has identified Brad R. Londre has the man who pointed a compound bow at Racine police on Aug. 24th.

During a domestic disturbance call to the 1900 block of Erie Street, officers were confronted by 43-year-old Londre who was pointing a compound bow at them.

Officer Richard Settner fired his gun to diffuse the situation. Londre was not hit by the bullet and was arrested.

Londre was booked into jail for 1st degree reckless endangering safety and domestic abuse battery to a disabled person. Both of those are felonies.

Settner is a five year veteran of the police department and is on on administrative leave as the police department conducts an investigation into the incident.
