MILWAUKEE -- The man wanted in connection with both a homicide and AMBER Alert has been taken into custody by Milwaukee police.

Dariaz Higgins was arrested just before 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the 5200 block of N. 103rd St. 2-year-old Noelani Robinson remains missing, police say.

An AMBER Alert was issued for Robinson Monday night, and police said Tuesday that Higgins, the suspect in her disappearance, was also responsible for the shooting death of Noelani's mother, Sierra Robinson.

A second suspect was arrested with Higgins for aiding a fugitive. Police say they continue to use all available resources to locate Noelani.
