A man was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life after getting critically injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday.
The Racine County Sheriff's Office says they were dispatched to the area of the Burlington bypass near STH 11 around 4 p.m. for reports of a motorcycle accident.
Once on the scene, deputies saw the driver in critical condition and began life-saving measures. Shortly after, the man was transported to the hospital by Flight for Life due to the severity of his injuries.
Witness statements indicate that speed and safety equipment may have been a factor in the crash. Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash as well, according to the sheriff's office.
The status of the man is not known at this time.
