Man shot near 50th and Center in Milwaukee after honking at car in front of him, police say

MILWAUKEE -- A 36-year-old man was shot early Thursday morning after honking at the car in front of him, police say.

It happened near N. 50th St. and W. Center St. just after midnight Wednesday night. Police say the man was driving on W. Center St. when he saw a stopped car blocking the road, with the driver talking to someone outside.

That's when the victim honked his horn at the stopped car. According to police, the suspect then turned and shot him in the arm.

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. Police say they're still looking for the suspect in this case.
