MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Fire Department says a man has died after an afternoon house fire.
Firefighters were called to Richards & Locust shortly before 3:00 p.m. Thursday. Fire crews say the fire was located on the second floor, and the man was the only occupant in the house at the time.
Firefighters say no smoke detectors were located inside the house. No firefighters were injured as they put out the fire.
The death is under investigation.
