MILWAUKEE – A man in Milwaukee jumps from a 5-story apartment window on the city’s lower east side to avoid being arrested by police.
It happened Sunday around 12:30 p.m. at an apartment building in the 900 block of N. Marshall Street.
Milwaukee police tell TODAY’S TMJ4 they were responding to a domestic issue at the time of the incident. Police say the man didn't want to get arrested and was trying to get away from police – so he jumped from the window.
Police say he was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. No word on the severity of those injuries.
