Authorities in Maine are searching for a Racine man who fell into a river Thursday night.
According to a police report, David Henry Dieterich was in the town of Bath on a work assignment. He was out socializing with colleagues at several bars before they came across a tavern near the Kennebec River.
Dieterich walked onto a dock near the shore. A high tide had caused the dock to rise. The area was roped off to discourage people from walking on it.
Witnesses say that was when Dieterich fell into the river. The temperature was about 40 degrees when Dieterich fell into the river.
Authorities have not released any more information.
