Washington County, WI - Forget the fabled season of the witch, Wisconsin is already in a season of snow, and some people in Washington County said it's just one of mother nature’s tricks a couple of days before Halloween.
For some, it's scarier than a scarecrow, and for others, it's spookier than most ghouls and goblins —we’re talking snow in October, something Cathy Hennes in Hartford can’t seem to comprehend this early in the cold weather season.
“I’m not ready for it. It’s not even Halloween yet,” Hennes said.
A Winter Weather Advisory was issued for areas west and north of Milwaukee until early Tuesday morning for 1 to 2 inches of snow.
Mike Korneli said his first thought was, “Oh, crap!"
But, he and a few others enjoyed the view while walking in West Bend.
"It’s beautiful," said Korneli. "It’s very beautiful, but it’s still October so it’s a little bit early for this for me, but I still take my walk every morning."
This same area could see more snow come Thursday.
