Muhammad Ali was strong in body and mind - the courage to go up against some of the best in boxing - and the strength to stand up for what he believed in outside the ring.
He died Friday at the age of 74.
A personal friend of Ali's, here in Milwaukee, showed us photos from years ago when the two considered a business deal.
Joseph Palumbo said they wanted to build a car and call it the "Ali 3 WC" for Ali's three heavyweight world championships.
More than that, Palumbo remembers Ali's kind spirit, when it came to signing autographs for fans.
"One thing I noted that no matter how long it would take, even if it took three hours, he would wait until the very last person and just never get tired," Palumbo said.
