MILWAUKEE -- Otto's Wine & Spirits on Oakland said they saw unusual sales for a Tuesday.

The alcohol retailer tells TODAY'S TMJ4 they saw more sales Tuesday morning, tapering off into the afternoon, then picking back up this afternoon.

"I think a lot of people are buying their provisions to celebrate, maybe possibly drown their sorrows, depending who wins, but I think mainly it's just to let lose a very tough year dealing with who to vote for," said Chris Oelke, the manager at Otto's Wine & Spirits.

Oelke said some are buying for the holidays, but many have said their purchasing is related to their hopes or fears for this election.
