A local law firm is offering support to furloughed Wisconsin workers amid the government shutdown.
Kim & LaVoy, S.C. are giving furloughed federal workers who reside in Wisconsin $50 Target gift cards.
"We recognize many federal employees are working without pay for our comfort and protection, and we thank them for their service," said the law firm in a press release.
The group distributed 50 gift cards but has 50 more to give away, it said Thursday.
To claim a gift card, call 262-796-1400. Proof of federal employment will be required.
