WEST BEND — A live grenade was found in the donation box of a West Bend Goodwill, police said Monday.
At around 10:15 am at 1717 Clarence Court, a Goodwill employee found a grenade in the donation box. The employee called West Bend police. After arriving on the scene, the police called the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit of the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department for additional assistance. The EOD removed the grenade to dispose of it properly.
No one was injured.
