WAUWATOSA -- During Tuesday's thunderstorms, lightning struck a home in Wauwatosa and set it on fire.
The strike happened just before 5 p.m. and the Wauwatosa Fire Department was called to the scene. The fire was minor, lasting less than 30 minutes. The home's roof and chimney sustained significant damage, according to the home owner.
In addition, the attic sustained significant fire and smoke damage, but the rest of the home was left in tact with only minor damages.
