A Kenosha preschool decided to teach their students the importance of recycling through a fashion show.
The children at the Goddard School in Pleasant Prairie got to walk a 'runway' Friday morning and show off their new threads made completely of recycled materials.
This was in part of the school's ninth annual Root for Earth initiative which aims to get kids focused on being environmentally conscious from a young age.
The students were also able to participate in activities inspired by STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) to foster creativity and imagination while giving children the opportunity to learn about recycling, going green and preserving the world around them.
