KENOSHA — The Kenosha Police Department and Wisconsin State Patrol are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Wednesday, Jan. 6 around 4:50 a.m. on the 900 block of 46th St. in Kenosha.

Kenosha police say they were called to the address for a possible sex crime. When they arrived, they discovered two deceased adults in the residence with signs that a struggle had taken place. The deceased are a 49-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman. There is also a juvenile victim who is 15 years old.

The suspect is a 24-year-old woman, who is in custody.

There were 3 other children present ages 15, 10 and 6.

Michael Curry has lived in the neighborhood for about 16 years, he said he didn't know the family but would see them from time-to-time.

"Everyone on the block is pretty nice people so it’s pretty crazy to see that this is happening," said Curry.

Police say the stabbing is not related to yesterday's protest. They do have one person in custody at this time and that there is no threat to the community.

All involved are Kenosha residents. Their identities will not be released at this time, police say.

There is no indication that this incident is related to any protests.
