KENOSHA  -- Fire crews in Kenosha responded to three structure fires that broke out simultaneously Saturday afternoon.

According to the Kenosha Fire Department, fire crews responded to structure fires around 3 p.m. at the following locations:

  • 3306 55th Court
  • 5701 34th Avenue
  • 2600 Roosevelt Road

The fire on 55th Court was at a condominium complex - at least 8 families were left without a home.

Karen Price wasn't home when the fire started -- but she arrived minutes later.

"It’s bad. I don’t know what we’re going to do," Price said.  I think we’re going to a hotel. I got the clothes on my back that’s it. My son got out he’s a quadriplegic and he got out. That was my biggest concern."

The Red Cross is now assisting the families with food, medication, and shelter.

"There are three families in wheelchairs that are displaced," said neighbor Marge Jeschke. "Three families [that] can't get their medication."

Nobody was hurt in the fire. The cause is still under investigation.

The fire on 34th Avenue involved two homes, shed, and a garage.  Right now, there’s no word on what was damaged in the fire reported on 2600 Roosevelt Road.
