MILWAUKEE — Kamala Harris is visiting Milwaukee on Monday, the same day Vice President Mike Pence plans to visit LaCrosse.
During her visit, Harris will be touring an International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Training Facility and speak with IBEW members and Wisconsin labor leadership about "Joe Biden’s commitment to workers and organized labor."
The tour of IBEW is scheduled for 1:40 p.m.
Harris will then meet with Black business owners in Milwaukee. The meeting is a part of a Build Back Better roundtable that focuses on how a Biden-Harris administration would "advance racial equity as part of our nation’s economic recovery."
The roundtable will take place after the IBEW tour, at 3:50 p.m.
Harris' visit comes a few days after Joe Biden visited Kenosha following the unrest in the city.
