MIDDLETON, Wis. — Joe Thomas credits swimming 30-minutes, two or three times per week, to helping him lose 60 pounds since retiring from the NFL in 2017.
He was looking for a way to lose weight and stay in shape. Thomas noted his past knee surgeries to finding himself in the pool for cardio workouts.
The Brookfield Central and University of Wisconsin-Madison standout left tackle was drafted third overall by the Cleveland Browns in 2007.
Thomas was a 10-time Pro Bowler and had a record 10,000 consecutive snaps with the Browns.
