Milwaukee Police say they're investigating at least three strong armed robberies from this morning in Riverwest. Police are investigating whether the three robberies are related.

A 16-year-old Bradley Tech student was one of the victims as he went to the bus stop Tuesday morning around 6:30 a.m.

"I had headphones in and I always put my music up loud," Aidan Mcelmurry said. "I looked behind me and this dude was right next to me. He was like, 'T-up.' He kept saying that and I didn't know what that meant. Another dude got out of the car and he was like, ring your pockets. I had my phone in my hand, I moved it away so he couldn't take it and then the other dude snuck me, like he punched me in my face when I wasn't looking. The dude I was talking to took my phone and they got in the car and drove away."

Mcelmurry says there was another woman in the car along with a baby. The two men took his phone and backpack though police found his backpack a little farther down the street.

"It's pointless," Mcelmurry said. They didn't get nothing out of it. They can't get into my phone and there was nothing in my backpack."

Aidan's mother Erin says this kind of thing happens too frequently in Milwaukee but she doesn't think it's specific to one neighborhood.

"It doesn't matter what street you live on," Erin Kucharski said. "Any time he leaves the house around here today, I'm nervous. He's a good kid but that means nothing to a stray bullet or weirdos."

Milwaukee police say they are still searching for the three suspects.
