WAUKESHA COUNTY — It's November, and after last week's historic Halloween snowfall, it seems like a lot more people are accepting of Wisconsin's winter weather even though it's still fall.

"I think it's absolutely gorgeous," Sandy Peters, who lives in Waukesha, said.

The snow didn't deter Peters from getting outdoors Wednesday morning.

"You center yourself, you're ready to go, you're in nature, nothing better to start the day," Peters said.

Although she's had to carve out time to clean off her car, Adrienne Bain, a student, agrees. She's pro-snow too.

"I love the snow," Bain said. "I think it's gorgeous, and I love winter."

Rain and snow showers are expected to linger throughout the day and even into the evening with much less accumulation than we saw nearly a week ago.

"We actually missed the snow last week," Courtney Thompson, who lives in Wauwatosa, said. "We were in San Diego, so I actually was kind of bummed."

Thompson bundled up with her 4-month-old baby, brought out the dog and took full advantage of her favorite kind of weather.
