MILWAUKEE — Students who attend an "early start" school in the Milwaukee Public School system will be back in class on Monday morning.
District officials will kick off the school year for select high school, middle and elementary school students with a celebration fit with a red carpet, drum-line and warm welcome from community members.
Beginning after 7:15 a.m. students entering the Golda Meir School will walk the red carpet after being greeted by parents, teachers, district officials and local community leaders.
If your child attends an MPS school outside of the "early start" program, class begins on September 3rd.
