MILWAUKEE — The case of a missing South Milwaukee teen is now in the hands of the FBI.
Investigators worry 15-year-old Abigail Maduscha may be in danger of being sex trafficked.
A news release from South Milwaukee Police described the girl asking someone to buy her a plane, train or bus ticket to get to Sacramento, California.
Carmen Pitre, president of the Sojourner Family Peace Center says the average age of a person being sex trafficked is 13.
Parents are reminded to stay in constant communication with their children.
“What are they saying [online]? I think there’s lots of adults that are looking for kids that they can manipulate,” Pitre said.
South Milwaukee police tell us she has been missing since Saturday. If you know where she is you are asked to call 911 immediately.
