MILWAUKEE -- A widespread internet outage is hitting AT&T customers and Spectrum internet users in various parts of the United States -- including Wisconsin.
The outage was reported early Monday morning.
Spectrum posted about the outage on Facebook and said:
“We are aware of an area service interruption affecting internet connection for subscribers in our Midwest regions. Customers in Ohio, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Indiana may be impacted. This issue is currently being investigated. Updates will be provided as additional information is made available.”
AT&T says they are also looking to resolve the issue as well.
Right now, there’s no word on what is causing the outage.
