If you haven't forgiven IHOP for the whole 'IHOB' stunt yet, this may change your mind.

Next Tuesday is IHOP's 14th Annual Free Pancake Day.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. you can stop into a local IHOP restaurant for a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes. All proceeds from local restaurants directly benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, while the national event will strive toward a $5 million goal for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other charities nationwide.

"Children's relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporate partners to make Wisconsin kids the healthiest in the nation," said Christine Baranoucky, vice president of engagement and stewardship at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. "Every dollar makes a difference, so we hope everyone will enjoy some pancakes to support Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and help ensure the best care for our kids."

IHOP expects to serve more than 5 million pancakes on Free Pancake Day. That's the equivalent to a 19-mile high stack of flapjacks.

Participating IHOP restaurants across Wisconsin include: Brown Deer, Grand Chute, Green Bay, Janesville, Kenosha, Madison - Washington Ave., Madison - University Ave., Milwaukee - Miller Park Way, Milwaukee - Layton Ave., Oshkosh, Racine and Wisconsin Dells.
