'I should not be driving': Man arrested for 7th OWI

A man was arrested for a 7th OWI offense Friday morning, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office says.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a deputy stopped a red 1998 pickup truck that was southbound on I41 at Richmond St. The Sheriff's Office says multiple 911 calls described the truck swerving all over the road. The deputy that pulled over the truck also noticed it swerving and not staying in its lane, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The traffic stop happened Friday morning at around 10:20 a.m. The Sheriff's Office says the driver, a 55 year old man from Oneida, was extremely intoxicated and admitted, “I should not be driving.”

The man was arrested for 7th offense OWI, Operating after Revocation, and unsafe lane deviation. He was taken to the Outagamie County Jail.
