It may be the biggest snowstorm of the season, but some people in Brown Deer handled Monday’s blizzard like conditions just fine.

“I actually love snow, I feel like if we’re going to live in Wisconsin in the middle of winter, let’s get something for it,” Adam Spector said.

And we did get something for it —inches of snow to be exact. Monday’s snowstorm led to hundreds of businesses and schools closing and a state of emergency declared by Gov. Evers, but despite this relentless weather, Harrison Stanfield who’s lived in the state for over 50 years said there’s no other place he’d rather be.

"I rather be doing this than some place warm right now, quite frankly,” Harrison said.
