PLEASANT PRAIRIE — For the crowds of shoppers hitting the stores right after celebrating Thanksgiving, dinner couldn't end soon enough.

Many of the stores at Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets opened at 6:00 p.m. Thursday night.

"I had like two plates so that's enough for me," said Christian Clemmons as he waited for The North Face store to open.

Even through the parking lot was packed, shoppers seemed to be in a good mood while waiting. Many felt like sticking with an old tradition, rather than spending their time shopping online.

Nicole Matera said that she and her daughter regularly plan a shopping trip after Thanksgiving.

"Just a mother-daughter thing I guess and good deals. It's a lot of fun," Matera said.

Erik Smith is a retail employee, which prompted him to go out on Thursday evening to complete his Christmas shopping before going back to work.

"Everything was nice and calm. Traffic was good. People was nice," Smith said.

If you're looking to join fellow shoppers this evening, Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets is open until midnight on Thursday, reopening at 6 a.m. Friday.
