GREENFIELD — A high-speed chase ended with a suspect's car crashing into two vehicles and flipping over on its top.

Greenfield Police said the chase started after a shoplifter was busted at a local Meijer store. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on West Layton Avenue without its headlights, topping speeds of 90 miles per hour.

The driver then reportedly hit two vehicles at 13th and Layton, causing the fleeing vehicle to roll over and come to rest on its roof.

One person was taken to the hospital and was released with minor injuries.

Two suspects were taken into custody on scene and were taken to the hospital with non‐life‐threatening injuries.

This case will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
