MILWAUKEE — Two weeks ago, Wisconsin was covered in snow. Despite the nice spring weather, it appears snow is on its way back.
According to Storm Team 4 Meteorologist Brian Niznansky, southeast Wisconsin is expected to get up to 6 inches of snow Saturday.
Here is how the storm breaks down Saturday and early Sunday:
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the snow and rain will head into the area.
From 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., you should expect between 1 and 3 inches, with heavy snowfall at times.
From 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., you should expect an additional 1 to 3 inches, with heavy snowfall at times.
From 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. Sunday, an additional inch is possible.
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Kenosha, Racine, Milwaukee, Walworth, Jefferson and Waukesha counties, beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Lighter snow amounts are expected north of Milwaukee.
