MILWAUKEE -- Police are asking for the public's help in locating two men accused of burglarizing Sunrise Food in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood.

It happened around 3 a.m. Sunday morning, according to police. The suspects used a hammer to pry boards from the windows and stole both money and merchandise.

Owner Mike Salem said he doesn't know why his shop was targeted, since he has had one break-in during 23 years of business. But now, he's put extra bars on windows.

This burglary was the third in just two weeks at the location. Neighbors said they're keeping an extra eye out for the store, a neighborhood staple.

Suspect #1 took the stolen goods while Suspect #2 was his lookout, police say.

Suspect #1 is described as a black man in his 20s, between 5'6" and 5'8", and slim. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a light mask, and dark pants.

Suspect #2 is also described as a black man in his 20s, between 5'6" and 5'8". He weighs about 220 pounds and was last seen wearing a t-shirt, pants, and gym shoes.

Police are not sure these are the same suspects as two previous burglaries- one on May 22, another on May 27.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Milwaukee Police at 414-935-7360.
