MILWAUKEE — The 22nd annual Milwaukee Jewish Film Festival is making a return to Marcus North Shore Cinema this month.
The festival is scheduled Sunday, Sept. 15 through Thursday, Sept. 19 at Marcus North Shore Cinema in Mequon. The Milwaukee Jewish Film Festival is a program of the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center (JCC), with support from Marcus Cinemas.
The film festival being a global collection of thoughtful and innovative films is intended to celebrate the best of Jewish films and filmmakers. The lineup this year is set to include narratives, crowd-pleasing dramas and intriguing documentaries that speak to Jewish traditions, customs and culture.
Films in this year’s festival originate from seven countries: Israel, Germany, Hungary, Denmark, United States, Ukraine and Georgia.
