MILWAUKEE -- Monday night, the city of Milwaukee lost its "soulman," Harvey Scales.
Scales passed away in Atlanta at the age of 78, according to reports.
The singer, songwriter and band leader performed everywhere in Milwaukee, including multiple appearances at Summerfest and other outdoor events.
The performer has written songs for groups like The Dells, The Dramatics and The O'Jays.
Scales is most famous for co-writing "Disco Lady." The number one Billboard hit sold over one million copies.
