HARIBO approved to build first U.S. manufacturing facility in Pleasant Prairie

PLEASANT PRAIRIE — The gummy candy manufacturer, HARIBO, is conditionally approved to build its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Pleasant Prairie starting in September, 2020. It will be located at 120th Avenue and Wilmot Road at the Prairie Highlands Corporate Park.

HARIBO plans on building a 487,400 square foot production facility and a 87,866 square foot warehouse building. The production portion of the new development could require up to 385 full-time employees. Production will go for 24 hours a day / 5 days a week.

HARIBO's most famous candy are their Goldbears, which are more commonly known as gummy bears.
