BROOKFIELD -- Happy 103rd birthday to Pearl Coster!
The birthday girl celebrated the milestone Friday with staff and other residents at Brookdale Brookfield.
We asked about her fondest memory from the last century.
"My children, that's the only thing that I care about. It's to see my children and my little ones, I live for those people," Pearl said.
Pearl earned a bachelor's degree and master's degree in education back in the 1930's which was rare for women back then.
She taught 2nd grade at Franklin Elementary School in La Crosse for more than 30 years.
