A suspected bank robber is in custody following a heist at a West Allis bank Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the BMO Harris bank in the 7000 block of West Greenfield Avenue shortly after 10 a.m. after a man entered the building, flashed a firearm and demanded money.
Officers located the suspect's vehicle a short time later and gave chase.
The suspect crashed the vehicle near N. Sherman Blvd. and West North Avenue and was arrested following a foot chase.
Police are investigating the incident.
