The Brewers are celebrating Earth Day by implementing a new environmentally friendly policy for Miller Park -- no plastic straws.
Plastic straws are one of many items that contribute to the 8 million metric tons of plastic waste impacting our oceans each year. We are partnering w/ @delawarenorth to reduce plastic waste & will no longer offer them at Miller Park. Paper straws will be available upon request. pic.twitter.com/BXjbiTB8cY

The plastic straw debate has been growing stronger as chains like Starbucks have gradually begun phasing them out, making way for paper alternatives.
The team is partnering with Delaware North, a food service and hospitality company.
The stadium will offer paper straws on request.
