Protests in Milwaukee over the death of George Floyd are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in a variety of locations.
The Islamic Society of Milwaukee said "youth" with the organization are organizing a march on Wednesday that will begin 2 p.m.at the 4707 S. 13th Street in Milwaukee.
These protesters are now at the Islamic Society, where people are speaking in response to the death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement.
There are crowds gathered at Gordon Park in honor of George Floyd, as well as a group on the move from Humboldt Park towards downtown.
George Floyd died in Minneapolis police custody on May 25. The officer seen in a viral video pressing his knee into Floyd's neck has been arrested and charged with his death. Protests have been organized across the country to protest police brutality.
