MILWAUKEE — Froedtert Hospital and Progressive Community Health Centers are making it easy to get tips on staying healthy.
The healthcare providers are offering free cancer screenings as part of "Health, Wellness and Resource Day."
It's happening on August 7th at the Lisbon Avenue Health Center.
Patients that are at least 40 years old can get screened for breast or prostate cancer. Those who complete a mammogram or prostate cancer blood test will receive a gift, plus a little pampering.
The day will include fun for the whole family, including an appearance from Bango and the Milwaukee Bucks Hoop Troop, music, snacks and giveaways.
